We are winding up our trip to Dallas and have spent the time with Simon and his family. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday has meant beautiful weather with daytime temperatures reaching 21 degrees and very sunny. We have visited a number of parks and done a few good walks. Sunday we went to Lewisville. We miss the coffee shops attached to the parks we have back in Australia. On Monday Steve and Christine went to Grapevine Mills DFO to try and retrieve the taxes ...

We enjoyed a picnic lunch, playing in the fallen leaves and the playground ...

If you followed my blogs while overseas, you know that my approach to ministry has been quite different. I've taken a back seat to much of it. Not because I am not still called to be who I am. I am who I am more now than I have ever been. I just have a different perspective. I'm more sensitive to things. I'm not so rigid. I have a different level of understanding of the grace of God and have ...

Our first 2 wheeled foray onto the Chaparral

A perfect Saturday! After cleaning the house, we rewarded ourselves with a soul-refreshing trip down the Chaparral Trail on Roy & Karen's bikes (most of it is too rough for our street bikes). Compared to Easter, all the trees were green and the wildflowers (bluebonnets, irises, etc.) were in full bloom.

The trail itself went from paved concrete, to fine gravel, to coarse rocks, to smooth dirt, to rutted dry ...
