... at the KOA in Maple Grove, MN at about 3:00 pm. We have a pull thru space and set up for the next two days. When hooked up with the tow car we are about 60 feet long. Just have to be careful where we stop or pull over.
Got the grill out and had steaks, corn and beans from Linda's garden. Home grown stuff is so gooood.

... of cake batter ice cream with double dipped chocolate sprinkle and waffle cone, it was sooooooooooooooo good. The fireworks went for about 30 minuets and there were fireworks shaped as smiley faces, basketballs, baseballs, stars and of course, normal fireworks.
... grandpa. He is 94, but is still very healthy. We visited him for an hour and talked about lots of different things, like what sports we do, what did we do in Texas and other stuff. It was nice to catch up with him.
When we came back home, we had some dinner and went off to play on the play set. We were wanting dessert so we decided on s’mores. We each had three, each one more yummier than the one before.

Oi! Two days until I set off to Brazil. It's hard to believe that I'm going back there, it's an unexplainable feeling of excitement, disbelief and slight anxiety! The great thing about Brazil is that they make you feel at home within minutes, also I have such a great group of people there to catch up with!

It will likely either be exceedingly simple, or I'll have to can the plan and just wing it, but in any case I am not relying on anyone to actually DO what they said they would, i.e. meet me at the train station. Enter those embarrassing translated statements and questions. You may look like a fool, but you'll get where you're going without ending up in a heroin den or a flesh market. I suppose we shall soon see how this preparation has paid off.........
