If a Tree Falls in the Forest.......
... chicken fans so I tried a crock of their Vidalia onion soup and a Michigan Cherry salad with grilled chicken. Wendell ordered their chicken club sandwich and cabbage salad (cole slaw). Both were excellent, but we were probably one of the few not to get the fried chicken. After lunch, we browsed their marketplace and bakery downstairs, but were able to resist their tempting delectables.

'All is Healing Well'
Well, the doctor said that my neck has been healing well. He recommended I slowly wean myself off of the brace I'm wearing now. So I'll probably still be wearing it to bed, for car rides and for the plane trip. Soon thereafter, though, I will be all healed and ready to go! ... 50 miles, 10:30. Wind coming out of the south west, and we are switching going east south. Really fast, temp went up to 90. Stopped in Fairgrove for ice cream to get out of heat at 1:30. Got back on road, got hotter, and wind is coming out of south. Hope we get to a campsite with running water tonight, because I'm getting sick of having only one shower in 8 ...
