One week from today, I will be driving to Minneapolis with my parents (hopefully in the Mustang! C'mon Dad!). The next day I will depart from all the familiarity that is Minnesota and arrive in Denver, CO where I will meet my new family for the next 6 months. After spending one month in Denver (learning the dances, singing the songs, and bonding with fellow cast members) we will travel to the southwest United States, Mexico, Sweden ...

Well the time has flown by and it's finally time to go! I fly out for orientation on Sunday then on Tuesday we fly out for TZ! I hope that I have everything packed, but I based packing off of another girl who was in TZ not long ago. Definitely helpful! I've been progressing in my Swahili lessons, however, it's going to take quite a bit of time really be functional at this language. I hope that everyone is well~! I'll miss you all! Peace (salaam)

Hopefully this will be a great way to keep everyone updated as to what's going on with this crazy, amazing adventure. I just received my PC country placement last week, and the verdict is...I'll be teaching Physics in Tanzania!! I will be leaving ...

We are leaving Minnesota heading for Las Cruces NM for about a month. We have put the motor home in storage in Minneapolis so it will be here when we get back for the birth of our new grandson in October. I drove the Yukon, and followed Pete on his "new toy" - A Goldwing Trike. All went well for both of us!

There were also special 3-D glasses that added special effects. The ones I looked through had a starburst effect in red, white and blue. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing evening and we finally arrived back at the hotel around midnight.

... with me, though you could consider it shock therapy because there was that head injury back when I was a kid. My Aunt Louise made a bunch of aprons that have "Williams Family Reunion" on it. Though I heard they are only for the 'volunteers' those who cook and clean. :-) We also had cake for my birthday. Since Isaiah's birthday was just 10 days ...

Arrived in MSP on time! Yeah. It is kind of cloudy. Luggage all arrived and it came quickly. Another plus. We rented with National and I'm Emerald Club, so we got to skip the line at the car rental. We had a compact car, but it fit all 4 bags plus some more stuff. We have a little Toyato Yaris. Well, let me just say travelling with my family is tough on my nerves. They don't listen to anything! The would never survive ...
