Around 4pm i decided the storm was almost over and took a walk downtown. Vendors from the annual Craft Sale were loading up their vehicles after being washed out today. Downtown was like most small towns but had some variety and not just Pawn and Liquor shops. Took a few pics nothing exciting but good to get out.

Weather report: Cloudy at times, Start temp 24C, end Temp 30C (nice riding weather)
Well the first thing I learned was that the 'detailed' map i have of the Great River Road is not very detailed. It only shows major roads but not the roads that connect them together. ... and decided to go through Canada from the Soo locks to Niagara Falls, so are checking with our car insurance and our cell phone plans so that we are covered in Canada. We brought our passports along to be prepared for this eventuality. To get to Cape Cod, which is due East of us, we either need to go above or below the Great Lakes. We have driven around each one in the past, which helped us decide which route we wanted to take again.
