      ... trip met or exceeded all our expectations. We had some wonderful experiences and with the exception of our primary debit card being eaten by a Madrid ATM and getting colds the last 10 days or so, everything went as planned, even the weather cooperated without fail. Europe 2014, our longest trip away from home so far, only whet our appetite for new experiences to come. We'll savor it for the next month or so and then began to plan 2015.       ... Oak Island seemed to take forever. We finally made it to the beach house around midnight. My sister, Beth Ann, arrived several hours before us, and my cousin Joe got here right before us. He's on a photo gathering trip and will be staying for several days or however long he wants, or until we get sick of him. Whichever comes first.
