    ... here (5 degrees) meant the snow was melting so the Sculptures were left like nothing that even I couldn't create:( They have done quite a bit of renovations since last year and would love to visit back once all completed. Then onto The Newly Opened Blackhawks Store on Michigan Ave. Wow!! Absolutely heaven. Blackhawks merchandise for as far as the eye could see. You could say I picked up a few things to add to my collection haha! ...

    Another thing we loved about Chicago was the 'street art' including the Bean sculptures, the Police Horses (like the Bath lions/ Berlin bears etc.) and the way that various 'foods' were used to decorate the flower beds.

    Back to the food, Mrs Smith recommended us a great farmers market at the Nature Museum (on Saturdays) ...

    ... It was Saturday the 1st November so just after the real Halloween night but parties were still happening. However, the shop was looking a bit bare so we didn't have an awful lot of choices.     So far off to a good start, only a minor potential scare so far, which I'm sure, will be the first of many on this crazy trip.
