Country Inn Stes Rapid City

Our family of four stayed in mid-July. We had a one bedroom suite, which we really like. The place was busy. The pool had lots of people. They have a big water slide that was the attraction. Our kids were too small to enjoy it.

The room was pricey, but we stayed there didn't we.

Very convenient to the interstate - but not too close.

Rooms were big and clean. Staff was friendly really helped

make our trip to SD a pleasant experience. The pool and

waterslide are great for the kids, the breakfast was good and

plentiful.

Stayed here over Easter break, 2005. Indoor pool with a slide that went into over 5 foot water. The best breakfast we had our whole nine day trip. Rooms were clean and the staff very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a two night stay in May 2005. The hotel is in a reasonable location near the main highways with a reasonable amount of parking space.

The room (not a suite) was a decent size and was clean. The high speed internet was available in the lobby (with a computer for guests to use), in the room I used dial-up which was still much faster than most other places I've visited. There didn't seem to be a cable or the right type of port to connect to high speed in the room.

The breakfast was ample, not as good as other Country Inn & Suites I've visited but it did have a reasonable range of items and the waffle maker. The dining room was dark and had around 10 tables.

The big negative was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. On the second night the couple next door could be heard talking until 1am and in the morning you could hear the women throwing up in their bathroom! Not so pleasant. The only way to block the noise was to have the tv switched on and at a reasonable volume.

The staff were friendly and were able to explain the book exchange program to me.

I'd consider staying here again, the rate was good, the breakfast ample but I'd try to get a room without having occupants in the adjacent rooms.

A good stay at a great internet special rate.

The kids loved the waterslide. Breakfast had something for everyone. We would stay there again.

I am sorry, but my stay was not very pleasant. To start out, there was hair found in my sheets. Also, loud noises kept me awake through the night. Service also not very helpful. Breakfast does not even compare to Rapid City Hampton Inn. Will not be staying here again.

We stayed in seven hotels on our vacation, and this was my children's favorite hotel because of the water slide at the pool. My husband and I think the Country Inn and Suites is the nicest hotel chain, and this particular hotel is extra nice because of the 100 foot water slide at the pool.Our toilet was making noise, and the maintenance fixed it in a very timely manner. We love the suites here. I would definitely stay there again, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

At least once in a lifetime you should go to the Badlands. Take your time and explore. Then head for the Black Hills. Get off the main road I-90. Get away from the multiple tourist traps and hike a trail, ride a bike. We stayed in Rapid City at Country Inns and Suites.. always a consintant good hotel. A surprise in Deadwood was the Ammerinn Cadillac Jacks, great rooms and service but eat downtown, you can walk there or ride the trolly. Take a trip through Spearfish Canyon it is a lovely place. We stayed also in Custer State Park Resorts had a cabin at Sylvan Lake which was very nice. Saw wild life and relaxed. Great trip. Plan early. Take your time there and do see the 4 guys on the hill and thier friend being carved on the next hill over . Good programs at both.

We stayed here after it first opened. Very comfortable, with a great jazuzzi suite that was very roomy. Would definetely stay here again.

My family and I stayed here in August, 2002. This is a wonderful hotel for a family. There is a great pool with a waterslide that is ideal for kids about 5 and up who can swim. The pool is open until 11 pm, which is great if you have been out sightseeing. There are 2 hot tubs, also. The only problem with the pool when we were there was the chlorine was very strong.

They have a really good breakfast buffet, which is a step abouve the usual continental breakfast. each day, they served eggs and sausage gravy with biscuits along with the usual cereal, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc, and many beverages.

We would definitely stay here again.
