A good night's sleep was had by all. We arose about 7am as usual and started tearing down, by 7:30 Steve strolled down from the cabins and joined us. We've done it!
... to stern. We've driven this 'train' from Moncton to Halifax, Halifax to Pictou via Antigonish, and it's last journey was from Pictou to Halifax and back to complete the process of loading it up for our full time RV lifestyle.
We've named our motorhome Star, only appropriate since we feel like stars, sitting up high in our starbridge. Some info:

Our cottage is absolutely lovely. The owner, Norah, stopped by to greet us and stayed to chat for a while. It will be a prefect home-away-from-home while exploring the island.

We made it!
... loved Lake Superior and will definitely be coming back. Backcountry canoe camping is also in the cards for a future trip, but probably at Keji next time, where one reserves campsites instead of just lakes.
Would we do it again? You bet! Would we do anything differently? Only spend more time in one spot, if we could afford to go even slower! And possibly do some of the travel with another family with kids, as Seta very much missed having someone her own age to play ...
