... back to Nashville, stopped at Buba's liquor store to get some Jack Daniel Tennessee Honey & Tennessee Fire. We went back to the Broadway Ave area of Nashville to the Johnny Cash Museum. After that, we drove to the Opry Mills mall & had supper at Romano's Macaroni Grill. (Good fettuccine & chicken parmagiana). After, we drove by the Opryland Hotel but couldn't get a good gawk at night, so we headed back to our ...
We arrived in Manchester, Tennessee and found the Old Stone Fort campground/park. We traveled deep into the woods and had a whole loop to ourselves since all the Labor Day campers had left. The site was above the river and to level it they had made a thick asphalt pad. It was so thick, ...

We decided to move on through Nashville since we wanted a shorter drive to Cherokee the next day. We found a nice little KOA campground near the highway. Walter did the hot tub and swimming and I went for a walk with the dogs. A good time was had by all. We had lost another hour, which made getting an early start the next day challenging. We drove through pretty country toward Cherokee, but that made our short day end up longer than expected.
