It actually wasn't too bad at all and as we really thought about the situation, we realized that we were thankful for a few things: 1 - we are thankful that we caught the "noise" before getting on the road and risked breaking down and 2 - we were thankful to spend another day with family who we only get to see once a year anyway. This also provided great views of the old Fort and the water around it. We did some hiking of trails there after walking inside and around the Fort.
