... in the car seat for very long, and, if you know our Teddy, you know he doesn’t sleep well at home and on the road it has been a little worse. Even with these challenges, the joys are out weighing them. Wednesday, May 27th : Today we toured the Sergeant Floyd River Museum, Sioux City, Iowa. Charles Floyd died on August 20, 1804 and is the first casualty from what was probably a burst appendix. He is the only fatality among the Corps of Discovery during the expedition. Also in this area the crew meets up with the Blackfoot Indian tribe.
