    The day I have been dreading all summer is finally here: moving Max to Saint Louis. He will be staying with my mom for two months while he gets all checked out and approved to fly to New Zealand.     We drove to the Arch this morning. We had no idea how huge that sucker is! 630 feet! That's taller than the Space Needle! You have to go up 90 steps, sit in a tin can to ride up into the top, where you can look out over the city and the Mississippi River. Three problems, no four...
    1) We have the dogs with us
    2) We are both afraid of heights
    3) My knees are not in good shape and 90 steps would kill them
    4) That sucker sways ...

    ... park immediately adjacent to the RV park. The park has trails that lead straight to the Missouri River including some historical markers discussing river boats (and one that sank just off the park). Other items found in the park: A playset for the kids (takes care of that if there are younger ones staying, but not our 12-year old LOL), some picnic areas including BBQ's. Now to rest up--its all baseball tomorrow... ...

    ... many of the Transformer's Crew ran and took showers so we could be ready to go to worship at The Warehouse. The Warehouse is part of a large congregation known as St. John's that has a huge present in the community here. Their worship is very dynamic with a full band, a great experince for the Transformer's youth!
