We left Chicago early Saturday morning (9/13). Jeff and Mark made us a nice breakfast, helped us load the car and we were off. First tourist stop was the Spam Museum in Austin, MN. As the sun set and we were nearing the end of the six hour drive to Albert Lea, Minnesota we encountered another unusual sighting. Ahead all we ...

... we stopped when we did. Needed a bit of leveling and
got some help from some fellow SAPrs. Complete connections and we enjoyed a
nice chicken meal cooked on our grill.
The plan is early rise tomorrow, continue on I-90 and our
first side trip to Mt Rushmore. Then it is on to Wyoming our target is Buffalo.
Total miles first day out is 350.
