... the Packer pre-season game tonight. Well with all the rain and with darkness descending, I chose safety over Packer loyalty and stopped in Austin, Minnesota, where we were treated to watching the Minnesota college game at the sports bar restaurant in the hotel. I wouldn't have minded eating a bad pizza so much if we could have had any other sport to watch, even tennis, but no, every TV was tuned to Minnesota College Football.

Well we have made it back into the land of humidity and corn fields! Today we drove to a midway point for us and stopped at a KOA near Hayward. This was a much older campground and truly surrounded by corn fields! We made some dinner on the grill ...
... were red blinking lights, high up in the sky. We got to a point where we were surrounded 360 degrees by them. Ultimately Diana and I assumed it was aliens because what else could it be? Had to have been aliens. right? Probably.
Anyway, we enjoyed a quiet and cool night together and are well rested. On tap for today is the highly anticipated Spam museum and then we have to hit the road again.
Next stop? South Dakota!

We found a cute little campground off I90 called Yogi Bears Jellystone Campground. They assigned us a couple of really nice sites where our coaches could face each other door to door which gives you a great shared space between you. We set up camp and toasted to Jellystone and our new mirror. We were back on schedule and no worse for the wear! Like Nick says....don't sweat the small ...
