    We are having a great, productive 2nd week. Our days on the job have been intense and we are all whipped at the end of each day. After a shower and happy hour we are feeling better. We have become good friends with Margot, Larry and Leonard. I feel like I have always known Margot- how cool is that? We look forward to all staying in touch and working together on another build.     ... families of the homes we are building will be here tomorrow working with us. They are all so excited about owning their own homes. Each future homeowner must put 500 hours of work into their home or another home being built. Sunday and Monday will be our days off and we are looking forward to the rest. We are up at 6 each day, meet at 7:30 and start work at 8. The day is full, we work hard, and feel very good at the end of the day. More later. Life is ...

    ... cancellations. We have 3 couples and a single man which makes a team total of 7. Our team leaders are a super couple from Santa Barbara- this is their 17th build. They stated there is a happy hour each evening. Go team! The others are from South Dakota -13th build and Texas- 18th build. We are the only "newbies" and "youngsters" on the team.     ... Indian put a magic spell over Clyde to keep it safe from any harmful weather. (We still kept our weather radio on-just in case.) We will be part of a Habitat's Care-A-Vanners, which are groups of volunteers who own a recreational vehicle and travel to different build sites. The groups have between 8-20 volunteers.     ... snapping turtles, until we settled down.
    A few rather strange folk are in our car, plus there's only one restroom. Showers down stairs so that was a no no for me, as I don't do stairs especially in a moving rocking, jolting train!

    Dinner we opted to have at 7pm and steak was delish. A Canadian club with ginger ale helped restore the mood!
