Boy is this falter a waste land!! Nothing but oil pump jacks and junkyards in this entire area! What a difference in scenery from the past. 5 days!!
But we are close to the airport for our 7:15am flight to IAH then DCA so it works. We killed enough time driving around looking at stupid stuff that it landed us in Odessa at 5pm.
Our next task was to find a place to eat dinner. Odessa is a food desert....all food chains which is something I try ...

... After taking the elevator down, down 750 feet to the entry level for the caverns, we really enjoyed the tour of Kings Palace, with a Ranger. She wasn't the best, but we enjoyed the commentary. Then, decided to do the Big Room walk. Kind of redundant after awhile, but still something we wanted to see. Cold, temperature was 19 when we went inside, but 53 in the cavern. Felt like a heat wave.
