... We woke up around 7 this morning, as we had an early breakfast time. Breakfast and all meals were served in the Elephant Room, a large room off the restaurant for Safari West. Breakfast was a buffet, with plenty of choices: hot and cold cereal; bagels; muffins; bread; croissants; fresh fruit; yoghurt; fruit juice; coffee/tea/hot chocolate/ milk.

After breakfast, we lined up for our safari tour. We explored most of the 400-acre preserve in authentic safari ...

... oceanfront views. They graze on the fertile grass and feel the constant sea breeze, before being slaughtered of course. That part is not so lucky. When leaving the property we saw zebras running with the cows. This is a remnant of Hearst's zoo he had at the castle. Next morning after one last hike to the waterfalls we stopped for lunch at Fernwood resort. The best food of the trip!!!! Hands down! We were told by our most helpful and friendly waitress about a beach access park ...
