A little wakeful in the early hours then fell asleep so when my alarm went off I turned it off then dropped back to sleep, then woke up 45 min later! Arrgghh! ... I paid that much for the entire stay so it was amazing!!! I got dinner and explored wal mart which is always fun, and as I was driving I saw the reddest sunset I have ever seen. It was amazing!! The sun was so big too. I wish I had of taken a picture of it, but the memory of it is still heaven. I then relaxed back at the room which was so nice after a long 2 hour drive.

... a Redwood forest, it was magnificent. It's really hard to describe the beauty and spiritual joys of walking through these giant trees. Amazingly, the kids also enjoyed Alcatraz - they were engrossed in the audio tour and took a keen interest in history of the place.
Tomorrow, we go on our bicycle tour. We will ride from Fisherman's Wharf, over the Golden Gate Bridge and down to Sausalito. Then depending on how we're going, we'll either ride back or catch the ferry back over. That should be super exciting.
