Day 5-Great Bend, KS

A travel blog entry by carney

... finishing up some school stuff. Got the plan changed and all is good.

Driving around Denver right now toward Fort Morgan and our destination Great Bend, KS. Feedlots are huge and stink! Street signs actually do say CR like in the Miranda Lambert song County Road 233..."Gunpowder and Lead".

Oh yeah, the night before we left, I was up til 11:30pm trying to hook up the DISH tailgator we took last year. Went through the tech service process only to discover ...

Fort Larned

We've had more direct tailwinds than the one we ...

Another day of pushing the limits!

A travel blog entry by chrisjess2011

We woke up feeling tired but not broken, so we all decided to push it hard another day. We rode 96 miles from Dighton to Great Bend. Luckily the local gym allowed us to take a shower and a dip in the pool. A pool is a great luxury after a long day of riding. On our way out we met Deena who was gracious enough to allow us to camp in her yard. After a big meal we crashed out early. Thanks ...
