Halloween fun

... We don't eat a lot of candy, and we always seem to have candy to throw away from last year's Halloween. Someone mentioned that some dentist has a candy buy-back program; that sounds like a neat idea.

We spent two more days with Dave's family before heading up to Washington.

... having his right foot forward meaning progress, left foot back representing the south, right hand clenched for conviction and his left hand open for compassion. We also saw the Martin Luther King statue and the Lincoln Memorial. Last but not least it was a visit to the Kennedy Centre Opera House before heading to TGI Friday for dinner. A huge day (8.30-9.00)....very informative and no rain till late afternoon. Everyone seemed to enjoyed themselves ...
