Country Inn And Suites Salisbury

Today was our last day in Maryland for a while. We celebrated the closing of our Maryland chapter by visiting The Narrows, a seafood restaurant right on the Chesapeake Bay. And I mean right on the bay. We sat out on the deck, and the water was right below us. We enjoyed an overpriced but tasty seafood lunch, and took some pictures out on the wharf. Pictures attached.

Kinda cool. Again, it's always refreshing to hang out at a house. Surprisingly, this was the first time we've been invited to a home after church. Sure, it was a small church--but perhaps that explains the hospitality.

We've had a wonderful weekend--met a few friendly strangers, enjoyed some beautiful weather, and relaxed in preparation for a new week of work.

Hah--well no, she's legit. It was just a nice encounter that helped us feel like actual social people in a job that finds us in a new town every night.

We were both encouraged to hear some positive feedback from a kid. It had been a while. And it is what keeps reminding us that what we are doing is worthwhile.

We stumbled across this restaurant just because it was the closest place to our hotel "The Coconut Malorie Resort" and were amazed by the food, the extensive wine list (at a GREAT price) and most of all the amazing view!
