I was getting my hair done at Shear Perfection / Hair Port, when Rosemary strolled in to get her hair done. As we finished up, in walked Marti, ready to do her great work there, and it turned out her first customer was Gayle! What a small world, and what a great level of excitement! Thought we'd document this with a picture.
... There is a trail called the Root River State Trail that comes right through the area, so lots of people were there with their bikes. The restaurant is a huge white barn with tons of artifacts inside, and fantastic food, so we really lucked out. We met a couple at the campsite next to us and had supper with them - a really nice night out.
... good doctor himself came out to call my name. Time elapsed 4 minutes. Off we went to another room where he shined really bright lights in my peepers. Yeppers he says, ya gots cataracts. I say, kin ya fix em ?? He says yep, about mid November, then ya has ta wait about month and have the other one done. YIKES.
