    Brian and I have made up our minds to move to San Francisco with our dog Baxter.

    We plan to drive my car, a compact 3-series BMW, loaded with all of our earthly belongings and our 2 bikes. We have several stops planned along the way and are ready to start our own life together.     ... was full of bike club members and their hogs and beasts. We caught a stunt act and a couple of bands.

    Raleigh is a beautiful town, the land was not inhabited until it was marked out as the state capitol. This happened over 200 years ago so the planned buildings are now semi historic which somewhat mitigates the rather antiseptic origins.

    The best way to describe it is that it is very respectable. It was definitely a livable place with a great climate.

    ... When i arrived, my new host Michelle picked me up and took me to her place. She's a college sorority girl who just wanted to party, so that's exactly what we did. She made us pizza and we did shots before going to town.

    She took me to a plaza downtown where there was a bluegrass/folk music festival where we had a beer and danced around like southerners. Or at least I danced how i thought dancing to that sort ...
