Last night we were primed for a day of BBQ only to discover that the festival started at 6pm. This gave us an unexpected extra day and Nadia's extensive research led us to believe the only option was some more outlet shopping. There are some that were not part of the tour because they are too dangerous or too traumatised to be seen by people. Well, believe it or not, it took 44 hrs from the start of our return from NZ, to our arrival back home Sunday afternoon! Our flight into Dallas was too late to fly out Saturday night. In fact, we were the only plane at DFW. A breeze going through customs with no one else around. Quantas put us up in a hotel, 20 min. away, not so bad, except there was an accident on the interstate, which turned our ride into almost an ...

... back to North Carolina and getting strep throat, I haven't had too much time to just sit down and write. But now I do, so let me tell you about my feelings.

Every time I tell people that I had been living in Italy during the past semester, they all have the same reaction. It's always, "OMG did you loove it?!?!" Living in Florence was the most amazing experience and the best thing I've ever done. I have no regrets, but no, I didn't LOVE it. There were lots ...
