We are just finishing up the last of the packing. I hope we have everything we need!! This should be an exciting morning. I don't think the girls have ever woken up this early :)

We can't wait to meet up with the other Scalissis and Nylands somewhere between here and Rapid City, SD

... I'll probably end up booking Barrow regardless of the outcome of the Coldfoot tour. Since Coldfoot is the Northern most truck stop, its a pretty cool stop for a couple of girls in the transportation industry.

          Here's the plan:

2/14: Fly to Anchorage. Arrive at 4:36 PM. Rent the car.
          2/15: Anchorage
2/16: Train leaves Anchorage at 8:30 for Denali and eventually Fairbanks. ...

... entire new city. Desperado was usually packed with people, and despite lacking an actual dance floor, would be filled to the brim with people dancing. Lux had a large dance floor, but it was almost always deserted. If we had a large group or just wanted a more relaxed night we would go to Lux but most of the time Desperado was the first choice. Though there were other clubs in Marburg, we rarely went to them as they charged cover fees. After dancing ...

... my time off approved, I was ready to return to the city I had missed greatly. For most, its hard to understand why I or anyone for that matter, would say "Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans?" It truly takes one trip to understand why. The city, the atmosphere, the people and the culture manage to capture your heart. Only after that do people understand what I and many others mean by that phrase. This trip would be one I wouldn't ...

          ... own bed
          will be fantastic.

We are definitely not going to miss all the fried foods and we can't
wait to eat salads every day for the rest our lives! On the other hand,
we'll miss our family and the wilderness and we had tons of fun
speaking with a Wisconsin accent for the week, it provided us with hours
of entertainment and eventually stuck. Hopefully John won't slip into
          it while ...
