... on time and we went on our way to the next gate for our flight to Seattle, meet up with Jackie and Shawn for a few minutes, and then to Anchorage.
An exhausting but worth it 34 hours between airports and flights. Who knew it would take me longer to get to Alaska then for that nice woman to get home to South Africa? I should also mention that in the gate area, heading to Atlanta on the same Delta flight that never left, was Jeff Foxworthy. Pretty cool ...
I got up this morning at 7.15am, showered, dressed and went down to breakfast. There were a few quiet people at breakfast – those recovering from last night. I had a talk with them and then headed back to the room to get ready for the day. I also packed bags, used the internet and tried to upload pictures to Facebook. Later i took my bags downstairs and then before getting on the coach said goodbye to those staying ...
... The downside is that we felt a bit isolated from the action and didn't really get the full game atmosphere, which is the whole reason to go to the stadium instead of watching at home or a bar where there is also an enclosure, comfortable seats, replays, food, and beer.
Although some of the ratings are a bit skewed due to the fact that we were in a suite instead of in the stands, here we go.

... practices. Having one major grocery store with many brands is much more convenient than having to shop across the city for certain basic foods. Additionally, the German grocery stores typically did not have carts. Instead stores offered baskets or occasionally even cardboard boxes to hold food in. While this fits with the German culture of only buying food for a few days, I find it far more convenient to fill a cart and have enough food for a month. ...
