It was wonderful to have a few extra days with family before heading north and especially to stock up on Caitlyn cuddles!! (You can probably tell how much I'm going to miss this munchkin based on the number of pictures of her here:)) Thank goodness for Facetime and Skype!
After about a week driving up the east coast, I arrived in Rochester in time to join Mom and Dad for the Herb & Wine Festival on Cayuga Lake. We had a great time tasting wine on a beautiful spring day and ended the day with 6 bottles and about 30 plants to prove it:)

... some more. We found ourselves back by the Plaza for lunch at an open air market that had 15-20 different places to get everything from paella to squid to churros. Almost too many choices. After lunch, it was time for cab back to the hotel. Note: Madrid’s cab drivers do not speak English – at least ours did not. Sarah was smart and grabbed a card from the hotel so we just gave that to the cabbie. Great idea. ...
