Day 25 of 49 (Oct 2). Rain continues to plague us, but we are not daunted. We are in our destination spot and after coming this far, we do not intend to let a little (LOL) rain stop us. ... of how much I have missed the presence of water in my home city. Brisbane used to have a number of fountains but alas, no more. In both Dallas and Norfolk, it has been very hot. Shady glades with running water have an amazing capacity to soothe and restore and both of these cities have had these in abundance. I hope that one day, fountains will return to our Brisbane.
