... tour. The city is pretty and there are many, many canals and bridges. Our walking tour included the red light district. Nice area of the town with a seedy group of prostitutes that display themselves in scantily clad outfits in storefront windows. Yucky but interesting. We walked around a lot more, and then visited the Van Gogh museum. I loved it. Many, many paintings on display- he ...

... Airlines and was lucky that it was on time again! Yay! It was a full flight to Minneapolis... Sat next to an Asian couple who barely spoke English but they were nice enough. Felt a bit like a squirrel as they gave us free peanuts to munch on... Squirrels on a plane!!! Ha!!! That would probably not end very well. ... s great that most of my family has ended up here. I'll be staying with my sister Sara and her adorable kids, Jenna and Ryan.

Jenna is a star swimmer who swam in the state meet last weekend at the U of M. Ryan is a sports savant who can name everyone on every team in the WNBA. More fun in Minneapolis next week after I return from Appleton.
