... Where: Tangará da Serra, Mato Grosso. It's a town of about 100,000 people, and is only 35 or so years old. Not many Brazilians could even point out Tangará on a map, but I find it very charming. Today we hit the open highway for Custer, South Dakota...Mt. Rushmore, here we come! Yesterday afternoon Giebel picked us up and took us on driving tour of Minneapolis...saw all the highlights...beautiful homes by the lake (or should I say lakes?!?), Univ. of Minnesota campus, downtown area (added bonus...it was Gay Pride Parade weekend). It is a very beautiful city. Last night we went back to the Giebels for a pizza dinner...the boys love their house and ...
