... as it is very popular, there were lots of people there. After a great day, we decided to get dinner and we experienced our first bad experience. We went into a Japanese BBQ place and got ripped off. We ordered a meal and were served so little food, it was an obvious rip off. We didn't eat the meal. We tried telling the guy, but he either did not understand or pretended not too. We left the restaurant, he followed us and ...

We decided to take a Viator tour (run by Sunshine Tours, Tokyo CIty Tours, Hatobus company) to see Mount Fuji. We were supposed to visit two observation stations on the mountain, have lunch, do a lake cruise, take a cable car to get a view of the mountain and take the bullet train back to Tokyo.

... look very nice for the few minutes that was clear.
We checked in at the hotel which is a traditional Japanese hotel with mats and no shoes in the room. It has it's own hot spring in the basement. We went for a nice soak. The hot spring pools are segregated and no clothes are allowed.
Dinner was traditional Japanese banquet called Kaiseki. It was more of an art display than a meal. Six courses later, we were full. Sake was great. ...

... historical buildings are restored as they used to be and represent the life on the facility as it used to be. After visiting the exhibition hall we walk around the buildings, the current structures were restored in 2007, the whole site is beautifully done. During our visit one of the ticket ladies gestures at the sky. There is a beautiful ring around the sun, which is quite unusual, and lots of visitors take pictures of ...
