... lasted about 90 minutes. There were a lot of political candidates in the parade because of the November primaries. Surprisingly there were only a few bands and cheerleader groups, and very few floats. It was rather disappointing.

Monday we drove to Wilkes-Barre, PA., and stayed at the casino for the night. We joined their players club which gave us 20 dollars play money each. I lost my money quickly but Karen won $31 dollars and walked away.

... day there actually, but because we had a dog waiting in the RV, we didn’t. She was in air conditioning and I’m sure very comfortable, but we didn’t want to leave her too long. I have to admit, that traveling with a dog limits what you can do. For example, it would have been fun to go to a Cardinal’s game while we were downtown, but can’t leave the dog in the RV all night.
