We got to Bentsen to the beautiful sounds of Border Patrol helicopters (if you don't know...Bentsen sits right on the Rio Grande and is a hot spot of illegal crossings). We barely got to the visitor center when we found CLAY-COLORED THRUSH, BUFF-BELLIED HUMMINGBIRD, and OLIVE SPARROW. That was it for today...tomorrow we are heading to Bentsen-Rio Grande where a Collared Forest Falcon is being rumored. Then we will chase ANIs and Crimson-Collared Grosbeak. So check back tomorrow....oh and send in those ideas!!!
