... were also many of the canard community we have come to know and hopefully, we shall cross paths with them again over the coming months. Consequently, there was quite a bit of chatting taking place – no wonder the time went by so quickly.
The whole week was dry with blue skies and mainly patchy clouds, the few bigger ones passing to the north or south. It was also very warm and we now sport a good tan, albeit restricted to arms, legs and face!

Today we drove to Port Washington to pick up our mail. When I rang, the lady asked me why it was coming to them and I said I looked at a map and thought it looked like a nice place. And I was right, it was lovely. On the water with lots of boats and a fishing competition underway. Some nice large, lake trout (6-12 pounds). ... state. We camped at Harrington Beach State park - another beautiful beach park. if you are wondering where these beaches are, they are the lake - Lake Michigan at the moment. I forget sometimes that it is a lake (a huge one) and it is complete with beaches, waves, stormy weather with lots of shipwrecks and lots of lighthouses.
