    ... of time. Gave up car. Had not managed to find a garage to get fuel as we were supposed to give it back full. However man there let us off and en took us to terminus outside where we needed to be. Gave him a generous tip. Another man took pity on us inside and took our cases off us put em on a trolley. Put our passports through Machine and printed our boarding passes although we had already done that in the hotel. He was very ...

    ... were also many of the canard community we have come to know and hopefully, we shall cross paths with them again over the coming months. Consequently, there was quite a bit of chatting taking place – no wonder the time went by so quickly.

    The whole week was dry with blue skies and mainly patchy clouds, the few bigger ones passing to the north or south. It was also very warm and we now sport a good tan, albeit restricted to arms, legs and face!

    Inbound Ripon It is always amazing how Air Traffic Controllers handling the masses of about 10000 Airplanes All competing for the same piece of Pavement at Oshkosh's yearly Air Venture week.     ... to take us into town to stock up on those essentials for camping we couldn’t bring and also taking the opportunity to buy some temperature-appropriate clothing.

    We’d just finished our supper when Vernon (another Defiant owner) joined us after a 12 hr drive from the Carolinas. We found out that the gate nearest the camping area closed at 2230 hrs – Steve had dropped us off with five minutes to spare!

    ... next three photos - I tried, but from the car it's impossible. But this is the kind of countryside we have been driving through for a week.

    Then back to Madison for dinner - a fish fry of course. You can't be in Wisconsin on a Friday night and not go to a fish fry. And a drive around the old neighborhood....this is where I lived during high school.
