      Day 1
      I left my parents at a casual 8am and headed off after packing up anything that might not like to be frozen that I had kept in the house.

      Our day started about 9am on the road. We crossed over the Indiana border and saw gorgeous farm fields. We also saw another Amish family in their buggy with little kids running around the buggy in large brimmed straw hats.       Stopped at Mammoth Cave National Park on our way out of Kentucky. Its the largest cave system in the world and so amazing. Our tour was 2 hours long and only cost us $12 a piece. Some places were so tight you had to squat to get through and others were so wide open it was like being in a cathedral.
