Year 2, Day 127 - Today we drove the backroads from Tifton where our campground was and we sort of stumbled across the "capture site" of Jefferson Davis (and his party as they fled Richmond). This museum (built in 1939) is run by the county and is a bit remote, but it has a great amount of memorabilia to be viewed and it was quite nice. Along with the story of Jefferson Davis, the museum now includes artifacts from the ...

It was then on to Tennessee where we stopped in Knoxdale at a place called Shuck to do an Oyster Shooter comprised of Jack Daniels, Tabasco, and an oyster. Steph struggled to keep it down but thoroughly enjoyed the ...

Barbara was able to coast the RV over to the side, and we got on the CB radio (no cell phones then). We talked to one trucker and a fourteen year old boy who was trying to meet girls. No help.

Rained like pouring tea out of a boot last night. A real frog strangler and still coming down as we departed. So much for warm sunny weather.

Received your comments and loved them. Thank you for taking the time to travel along.

      Family Time

After a hardworking week with the Lady Aggies, I was able to go home and enjoy some well needed family time. Going back to Georgia was great because not only was I able to spend time with my family, but I also was able to attend my cousin's wedding. It was a small lakeside wedding and it was beautiful! I was very glad to be able to have been in attendance. Now it's time to get focused and work towards this championship!
