Beth- I agree with Jeff its a tie- the scenery on both cruises/tours was breathtaking
        Sydney- the fjords

Thing/s I missed most about home:
Jeff- "Cold drinks, ice, and my bed!"
Beth- "My shower/bath tub and Diet Dr. Pepper :)"
        Sam- "American food"
        Sydney- "My own bathroom!"

I have also attached some of my favorite photos from the trip and a slide show I made of them. ...

Wow! Early 3:45 am wake up this morning for early flights and a long travel day. Sydney travelled separately and we all had connecting flights in different countries and cities which made for a stressful day but we persevered! I believe the point of these stresses is to make us appreciate the comforts and familiarity of home even more:). Sydney was ...

I managed over the two days to see all of the main features of the park. 8 miles of hiking up and down hundreds of stairs and steep terrain, but I would do it again. Old Man's cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Conkles Hollow, Cantwell Cliffs, and the Rock House.

This morning I awoke in my own bed for the first time in 18 days. Eyes open, scanning the room getting my bearings, smiling because I'm home. I arrived home last night as the sun was setting, full of excitement and anticipation. Of all the places and things I’d seen and experienced the last 18 days none could touch the sight of home and the embrace of my wife. On the morning of Sept. 20th I ...

        ... state with 25% obesity
versus one with 32% obesity may not seem all that great, but I wonder what the
stats would be for very high BMIs like over 50. Appalachia seems to have a huge
population of people who are not just chubby or somewhat obese but massively
fat almost to immobility that you rarely see in other parts of the country. At
least that’s been my impression from trips through rural parts of eastern Kentucky,
        western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, etc.
