I've arrived in Birmingham! After the long flight (which was luckily slept away) I am now in the US of A. ... this is one of my bucket list stops. We grabbed a bottle of one our favorite Pinots that we brought with us, grabbed a cab, and off we went. Unlike the night before, the service was professional and top notch and the food was fantastic, and the Big Basin Pinot we brought with us was just icing on the cake.
The next morning we will be heading up to my brothers place for a long weekend of catching up, throwing a big party and celebrating his new house and new bride.
