We got up late after a fitful sleep! Headed off to the Nasa Space Center. Amazing history of space travel and lots of fun things for the kids. A real live space shuttle on site, gives perspective on its immense size and the how astronauts can make there way to space. Precision is a must! What a great day! Off to bed as we pack for a vacation on our vacation...Gatlinburg, Tennessee (borders the Great Smoky Mountains National Park), here we ...

Another college! More dorms! Had my own room!
Thunderstormed SO HARD the next morning. We had a nap/cuddle-puddle/ukulele-playing/TV-wa tching fest until 8:30 and then decided to van everyone to the next host. It was a tough decision but an easy call. That storm was not about let up. And indeed it did not. (see the picture) We totally lucked out, though, because the awesome ...

Day 23: 76 miles Sewanee, TN --> Pulaski, TN

Today's 76-mile ride was relatively uneventful mostly because 70 of it was on the same highway. However, Carlee, Hannah, and I broke up the ride with some nice long talks about politics, favorite things, and some other zesty topics. Later, Alicia joined us and we stopped at Prichard's distillery to learn about how they make rum in Tennessee. The woman was really nice and gave us a tour of the ...
