Country Comfort Cairns

... They sound like they are and they are everywhere.  As the sun went down, I could see them all fly away in huge groups!<br><br>It is only 7:30pm and I am not sure what I am going to do for the rest of the night.  I don't want to wander around town at night because I will surely get lost! Maybe tomorrow night I will venture out. I am getting picked up bright and early for a tour out to the Great Barrier Reef tomorrow!!

... place to end the Oz Exp when everyone has no money! We've been having free meals every evening...on Sunday we managed to have 3 dinners at 3 different places...all free!!!! First was Spag Bol, then a hot dog and then chicken satay!! It's great as we haven't needed to cook at all! I made it back to the resort in the late afternoon to find I had a room-mate, Jeremy had &#8220;crossed the ditch&#8221; that is the Tasman Sea from New Zealand and would be another of my tour mates for the next few weeks.
