Athens
We spent three days in Athens after our cruise ended. Much of our time was spent exploring the numerous sites of ancient ruins, many dating back to the 5th century BC. The Acropolis was the most spectacular, even though much of the site is undergoing extensive maintenance to rectify work that was completed in the late 1800's.
