    ... with his left leg brace on, the therapists got him to stand up and "walk" down the parallel handrail. Bill burst into tears and I followed. We were overjoyed at the miracle that occurred. This is major!! There is renewed hope that Bill can fully regain the use of his left arm & leg. Now, understand these are baby steps.     Bill Had Successful Brain Surgery!

    ... the latest computerized equipment to precisely remove the larger tumor (larger than a golf ball per the surgeon). He has two permanent titanium plates holding his skull bones together and his scalp has been stapled back in place. Surgery was over at about 12:30 PM.     We were rudely awakened about 7:30 AM (the only morning we actually were asleep at 7:30!) by a sharp knock on the door and a lady informing us we couldn’t have a tent erected here. Too upscale, I guess!
