        ... Vermilion through the fall, winter, spring, and summer. I promised Sassy and Odie they could be home for a good long time -- they've already found their old beds, toys, and hiding spots!         OK so this is my first post on this site.
        Here are our stats for today.
        Left Oceanport at 8:45am and arrived in Sandusky, OH at 6:45pm.
        We traveled 545 miles on I-80 and it was a long and hot ride.
        Tomorrow is Chicago which is 250 miles, so an easy ride compared to today.

        ... marshy areas it was mosquito heaven! There were so many of them, and huge ones! In the evening we headed over to cedar point amusement park, which was nice. They had some very impressive rides, including one that was the fastest and tallest when it was built, and was amazing, although sadly only watched as I can't go on them.         ... on the road. We figured this would only take an hour and a half or so and then we would be on our way.

        However…. last night we started looking at our tires more closely and realized they were getting pretty dry rotted and we should probably have them looked at before leaving. We eventually got on the road at 2:30 PM…. 7 hours after our planned departure time.
