What a difference a day makes. Went to bed at 65 degrees in Savannah, and woke up to drizzle and 41 degrees. There is a major winter storm warning in effect. We cannot get north of Interstate 20 because of snow and ice. So we went west to Macon, Georgia, then continued west along old country roads. It was awesome. Clear roads...a few stranded cars near Birmingham from their ice storm.... Tons of sand on the road from the Southern panic re snow/ice. But we drove uneventfully from Nashville to Montgomery and are all feeling good. Warm, incredible place to stay at the Staybridge suites...healthy food- Chipolte and Earth Fare health ...
