    ... Storms to fire. Colt Forney, who is another 1/4 of Basehunters with our Guides Kevin and Scott turned up with his wife to wait out on Initiation.

    While we were there, Randy and Lisa, the Outlaw chasers, who I met last year came to catch up with us and wait it out too. It's really nice to see chasers who I bumped into last year that sometimes make the effort to come and meet us.

    Storms fired at about 2.30 - 3pm so we got on the road and chased ...

    ... the Astros. Being the executive chef of the ballpark gets him some really cool memorabilia! We said some tough goodbyes, and departed Houston a little before noon. Besides an uneventful lunch at Arby's, and few bathroom and gas stops, we had a couple of interesting moments during the drive. First, as we were heading back through Dallas, we hit some thunderstorms. The storm dumped a bunch of rain on us as lightning ...

    ... of all the parks we have been in on this trip so far. It is almost full (we got the next to last site) of workers who are here for various jobs. It is fine, but a working camp RV park just doesn't have the same feel as a park that is mainly for those of us who are passing through. John is out (again!!) washing Muf's face...and oh, yes...the temperature when we pulled in here was (Ta Da!!) 98 degrees! Yikes!

    ... says it got its name from Wichita being the Air Capital of the World. Really??

    We spent some "quality time" this evening at a Dillon food store - a chain which is owned by Kroger. Other than that, we didn't do a whole lot, as it was late afternoon before we arrived and got set up. All in all, not much to report!
