    ... a bad decision on the hubris of one. Mostly, I just loved the views of the train working its way through the passes.

    After finishing the museum (cattle and oil), we returned to the hotel, where we were able to check in and rest. We watched the Alabama-Georgia game which determined who would meet Notre Dame in the title game. And actually slept for about an hour, which left us greatly rejuvenated.

    For dinner, we went to Eddie V’s for jazz and seafood. ...

    ... our time playing at the fair, they took me to the river for a swim. The Comal River is also the place to float down in a tube. They didn't take me tubing this time as: (a) we had parked on the wrong side of the river; (b) we didn't have a lot of time; and (c) they weren't sure how baby friendly the tubes were. We all enjoyed the dip in the fresh cool water and while I was intrigued by the whole experience, I was not so excited by being dunked in the cooler water ...

    Seriously? Since when do I ever get homesick?

    To combat this feeling, I did some WORK for DoI. I actually worked. I sent out emails and used my brain in a productive manner and .........what is wrong with me?

    Went for pizza. I would say I was 'non-plussed', but I guess that word does not mean what I think it did. So, I'm going to say I was not impressed. :D Good rolls, though...
