      ... the middle of an Oklahoma campsite cooking the good old English dish of sausage and mash ha! Tea seemed to go down a treat, cured any homesickness specially since we had lumpy mash my mums speciality ha ha! Tonight we are just chilling round the camp. Me and Sofia sat on my blanket stargazing and talking a about life, decided to have an early one tonight as tomorrow is going to be a long day exploring the old Route 66 cannot wait :) nighty night ...

      We took the car into Guthrie this morning and went through the Territorial Museum, which told about the relocation of indian tribes, the "land grab, and early life on the prairie and the hardships endured.

      Government-owned property (once indian territory) was surveyed out in 160 acre tracts and at 12:00 noon on a day in August, the area was "opened" for whoever could stake a claim. Trains were packed with people who were kept on the train until ...

      ... land grab" and other epic stories of the history in the area. The Dalton brothers were from this area, and it's said that Mama raised 13 children, and all but 4 were law-abiding citizens! We also went through the Chisholm Trail museum in a nearby town of Kingfisher. We are spending a second night here and will leave in the morning for the town of El Reno and Clinton. ...
