    ... the time I crossed the Nebraska border it was almost clear. I noticed a strange phenomenon near where the horizon should be, - a straight line between sky and earth, - Wait! That IS the horizon! I haven't seen it that well defined since the last cold front in Florida!
    Good flight up here to Crete, NE (KCEK) south of Lincoln. Landed on their turf runway 13 at about 18:00 CDT.

    Today we head towards Gunnison, CO. Before we left, we stopped by the condo and said goodbye to the kids. Izzie had just gotten up and was full of energy. She loves to have Grandpa help her walk.     ... minor state highways were excellent by Australian standards and still had mostly 65 mph speed limits.
    We passed through numerous small towns with tall grain silos and huge farm machinery. We stopped for buffet lunch at a Pizza Hut, the at the geographical center of the 48 states where temp even hit 58F.
    Staying tonight at a nice Quality Inn in Lincoln, Nebraska.
