We started our day in Fort Worth at a nature reserve. We parked up at the visitors centre and started with a 1 mile walk. We immediately came across a couple of large spiders and heaps of different coloured dragonflies. Sam wasn't keen on the walk after seeing the spiders and knowing there might be snakes around. The walk itself was nice though. We came across 'Prairie Dog Town' which at the time we could only see about four of them from the fence ...
... for dinner and ate at the Cattlemen's Fort Worth Steak House. This was the type of steak house we were looking for back in College Station. Peg had the T-bone with mushrooms and baked potato; I had the bone in Rib-Eye steak and backed potato. Wonderful food and service. This restaurant has been there since 1947.

We looked at lots of motorhomes onThursday and decided that we should buy the first one (if it passed the ...
... tassel shirts and trouser covers, the flashy belts and whips. There was a country artist playing in another bar, all the stalls were made from wood and had the outback cowboy feeling, something you'd see on the old films in calamity jane! We reached the end of the street and bought tickets for the rodeo at 8pm, we went in a little early and bought a beer each, it absolutely stunk of cow poo; it hit your throat straight away - pooey! We sat down where ever ...
