    Yesterday was a pretty awesome day! We went to Seney National Wildlife Refuge in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We saw it on the google maps iPhone app and it was only 10 minutes from the pull off we stayed at the night before. We didn't have any expectations due to the rainy/cloudy weather.     ... River. The water was clear, fairly warm, and beautiful. We rode 17 miles and did the loop through the entire park. It was very densely wooded and hilly.     ... resort towns… old store fronts with clothing, crafts and tourist schlock, restaurants and taverns, and boutique sized hotels.     ... the parking lot, I noticed a gull hanging out on top of a nearby car. I flashed back to a time I brought my mom to Gooseberry and we sat at the Upper Falls and watched a stupid seagull completely panic because he was trapped on rocks at the bottom of the waterfall. I fondly recall the laughter while telling him "you can FLY!"
