      ... a boarding pass for our flight, anywhere near our gate. Extra questioning and screening as well as passport photo verification was done before we could enter the area near our gate. At the boarding gate desk, no less than 8 people appear to be checking printed passenger lists against other lists and computer data. It's a strange feeling.       ... better in America. The fries were fine but the coffee was cold. I guess a standard of Burgers in England have improved since the 70s and are very comparable if not better now days or maybe I was just unlucky.

      ... Oak Island seemed to take forever. We finally made it to the beach house around midnight. My sister, Beth Ann, arrived several hours before us, and my cousin Joe got here right before us. He's on a photo gathering trip and will be staying for several days or however long he wants, or until we get sick of him. Whichever comes first.
