... was good and it was also an entertaining place to eat. We had one little mishap leaving as we ended up at a dead end in the parking lot. More trouble was averted and we found the Hampton Inn in record time. There were no cookies left, but I got one when we were leaving for dinner and stuck it in my purse. That made a good dessert even if I did share it. Time for bed... Tomorrow is our practice round. I just hope practice makes perfect. Check back tomorrow to find ...

    Home, safe and sound!

Europe 2015 was our longest adventure so far. We enjoyed all the places we visited and stayed and all the things we saw. We effectively met the challenges we faced along the way, but now that we are back, "there's no place like home". We were essentially on-the-go for 63 days without a true break. After some pictures, we headed back to the car and made our way to Pickens for dinner. We had pizza at Tonys and then headed back to ...

Aunt Jane had a great breakfast waiting for us when we woke up this morning. Caden of course finished first so she took him out to feed the birds from the dock. They have a great back yard that fills up with water at high tide and empties out at low tide. Caden loved exploring this interesting area which is nothing like we have near our home. We loaded up for the long drive home, with one more surprise in store for the boys. The past two years there has been a church from ...

After months of researching, planning, making reservations and in the past week, packing and weighing, we're finally beginning our Europe 2015 adventure. Our first flight today originated in Greenville at 12:50 (on time) and will take us to Charlotte. Its 2:00 p.m. and we're in Charlotte, waiting for our flight to, of all places, Philadelphia. When we made our flight reservations late last year, ...
