After a hearty breakfast at the hotel we headed off to Luxembourg City and into Vaals(It borders on both Belgium and Germany. The three borders meet on the Drielandenpunt, a few meters from the highest point in the European part of the Netherlands, the Vaalserberg. The Vaalserberg used to be called "Hubertusberg".). And then onto Duerne. It was an entertaining drive to Luxembourg City especially trying to find first the city centre and then trying to find a park. The ...

(I still have it by the way) I do remember watching the Patton movie a lot and was just enamored with him. It was still raining when we woke in the morning. After a below-par breakfast, we checked out and drove to Clervoux in the north of the country.

The drive took us through yet more spectacular scenery - hill upon rolling green hill dotted with picturesque farms, towns and castles. Clervoux is a beautiful town, but we only drove through it on our way to Esch-sur-Sūre. Esch-sur-Sūre, more ...

Drove to Boussu-lez-Walcourt for lunch, great views of a popular activity lake, must be a extremely busy place in the summer. We were just about to go on a long walk, when we watched hail came screaming down around the van, deciding then to head on and reach our next country of ...
