Today has been a pack up and travel day and we are now sitting down after a nice shower on our campsite in Tours. The washing is in the machine, we are having a beer and just about to start dinner - steak baguettes with onions, mushrooms and salad with chips from the campsite bar. 2 nights here and next stop Paris :-)

Others have taken pictures and have promised to upload them to the blog. We were also lucky today- rain was supposed to start at 2, but it is still dry at 4. We are in two hotels here so we are going to meet the ...

... of us trekked over. for a bite. I had my first Orangina of the trip and a very pleasant little sandwich. Even run-of-the-mill baguettes in France are superb.

While we were eating, it poured rain briefly and then the sun came out for our walk back to the hotel where we all had rooms now. Caroline and I declined an invitation to travel to downtown Bordeaux in favour of a nap.

Refreshed and showed by late afternoon, we walked ...
