    ... before returning to the train station. As it turns out we did end up missing our train from the main town back to Bordeaux. Thankfully we found a nice German/French couple who offered to take us back to the city as that was the direction of their home. All in all it was a terrific day, quite spontaneous even!     ... but their native language (French) witch makes it difficult to communicate because they don’t make an effort to speak English neither Spanish or Italian, their neighboring country’s.     ... apparently, a hotel! I ran up to the top so I could take photos, no easy task, as walking in deep sand is very good exercise indeed! Luckily there was a set of stairs and a rope handrail for going up, and I plunged through the sand barefoot on the way down, quite fun, actually!

    ... in the bubble of my vehicle, bounced around by the various stimulants... excitement, sadness, anxiety, freedom... That night I parked up in a service station at Lugos after dark, feeling claustrophobic, dirty, disorganised, and slept in my clothes with the benefit of at least being able to stretch out... It was quite fun being nowhere though, slightly lost in transit getting a chocolat chaud from the empty cafe, falling into a cautious sleep for the first time in my van.
