    We left Emilion, a quiet and peaceful place and travelled into Bordeaux, noisy busy and hundreds of cars on the roads into the city. A massive contrast.     ... as we like AirTransat, their actual handling of bike--or perhaps more accurately, the airport baggage handlers--has never impressed us.

    It was barely 10am despite all that we'd done so far. Rooms were being prepared but still not ready (although expected by noon) so we hung out and tried to stay awake (some failed) in the lobby, connecte to the hotel's wi-fi.
