... that looked fun and was only $28 per person to skate for two hours - holy smokes. We settled on a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha as a Christmas Eve treat. We had pesto pasta and sausages for dinner which is not exactly tourtière and mince meat pies but being in Singapore and with the ability to do what we wanted - it was great. They have a water and light show on a Saturday evening and we really wanted to watch it, so we found ourselves the best spot and watched what was a really impressive display - they basically spray big curtains of water in a fine mist into the air, and then use it as a screen to project various lights and moving images onto, and it tells the story of how water brings life - it was really clever. ... It was sat on a bed of syrup and ice like a slushy. The fruit was good, the ice cream was bubblegum-flavoured but good, the ice syrupy stuff was a bit weird but fine, then we got down to layers of real weird stuff - long thin green “jelly sweets” but they tasted very strange, then sweetcorn and then I ate a kidney bean. “Maybe it's a sweet soy bean?” No. It was definitely a kidney bean and as we dug down deeper into this dessert of disgusting ...
