... try and come back for a race sometime. Did I mention the heat. It was steamy and again I was sweating buckets. Little India: The thing that struck me the most was the scents. I walked straight into a Hawker Centre and the food being served from the various stalls was amazing. You go to where they are selling clothes and they are burning incense. ... hotel for 18$/night. It's certainly nothing fancy and looks/smells/feels like a dingy motel haha but one again, no bed bugs so we are in the clear to stay here. After some convincing, we were able to use the phone to call sunny to arrange meeting up. The wifi barely worked and the phone in our room didn't work either, eye-ya-yai! ... and after one too many jokes about throwing screaming children in to the hyena enclosure we decided it was time to go home.

We then came back Monday morning as it was a bank holiday for us. The flight back was easy, although we were all shattered/steve was dosed up on tramdol so i think we were keen to get back and have the afternoon to recuperate before school started this week.
