    Final dinner at Baglio Oneto tonight. Had our dinner in the restaurant tonight think a certain lady had been complaining about the mozzies in the courtyard. It was our last night with Lorraine tonight as she was getting a taxi early in the morning to Palermo, where she was going to Scandinavia for another three week tour. Sadly said goodbye.

    ... asked Helen and Gilberto to see if they can find a pharmacy today and get me some strapping for the foot so I cannot move it so easily!

    We have only three days left of our holiday and with this foot problem I'm quite happy to go home, although Italy and Sicily has been beautiful.

    ... First stop for us was a cup of coffee as I needed the bathroom, and then we walked and wheeled further up the street to see what it was like. Wasn't too good, so doubled back and found a ceramic shop on the other side of the piazza where I bought a lovely plate to put on the wall of our back patio. Very bright and colourful.

    ... was a beer. We thought we were having a taste of red and a taste of white but wound up having a full glass of each. This place was amazing today. We saw some of the most impressive ancient Greek buildings outside of Greece. Its Doric temples date from the 5th century B.C. In my opinion I think these temples were much greater than temples I remember seeing in Greece. They were much better preserved. None of the temples were as big as ...
